Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions are a binding legal agreement between yourself and applyMSIC.com.au. By submitting a request for a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC), you acknowledge and agree that you have read and understood these terms and conditions and are bound by them.

This website allows qualified applicants to apply for a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) in accordance with the Maritime Transport & Offshore Facilities Security Act 2003 (MTOFSA). Eligibility for an MSIC is governed by the MTOFSA.

applyMSIC.com.au is an agent of Veritas Engineering Pty Ltd. Due to federal regulations, this website does not support all applications for an MSIC. In cases where applications are not supported, applicants may apply for their MSIC via Veritas Engineering (msic.net.au).

  1. Applicant's Obligation

    It is agreed that the applicant will review all information they have provided in their application before submitting, to ensure the information they have provided is accurate and correct. The applicant understands that if their MSIC application has not been correctly lodged after 3 months, upon lodgement, updating of details may be required.

  2. MSIC

    The applicant understands that applyMSIC.com.au cannot expedite the MSIC process.

  3. Refunds

    Payment for an MSIC from applyMSIC.com.au does not guarantee the applicant shall be issued an MSIC. Approval guidelines are in accordance with the MTOFSA and Issuing Body Plan. No refunds shall be given for applications once lodged with AusCheck. applyMSIC.com.au reserves the right to refund monies once applications are received. In no circumstances are refunds provided to applicants who are not approved to be issued an MSIC.

    All currency transactions are in Australian dollars ($AUD).

    applyMSIC.com.au is not required to provide a refund for:

    • Incorrect forms that are submitted by the applicant
    • Any data entry errors made by the applicant
    • Applications already submitted to the AusCheck
    • Change of mind after partially or fully completing the application process

  4. Delivery

    When an application for an MSIC is approved, applyMSIC.com.au shall request that Veritas Engineering issue the MSIC. Delivery of MSICs to approved applicants is via Registered Post only.

  5. Privacy
