Being a Maritime Security Officer provides you with variety and responsibility across several G4S contracts. In line with our core values and responsibilities, duties are but not limited to the following:
- Ensure no unauthorised entry/exit of persons or articles to the facility via your area of responsibility
- Fulfil the security officer role by completing patrol and gatehouse duties
- Maintain/follow operating procedures and standing orders for all standard duties and emergency response events
- Be familiar and compliant with relevant Workplace Health and Safety processes for
the facility
- Liaise with management, the client, contractors and other stakeholders as appropriate
- Complete all reports and registers in a correct and timely fashion
- Comply with rosters and time recording processes
- Ensure a safe and effective workplace
Requirements:
- A current Security Licence
- A current Drivers Licence (and ability to drive a manual vehicle)
- A current Level II certificate in First Aid
- Minimum of certificate II in Security Operations
- MSIC or the ability to obtain
- Proven experience in the security industry is preferred
